She’s been called the goddess of animal welfare and a global champion for animals.  Jennifer Skiff is an award-winning journalist, author, and inspirational leader.  Jennifer is now the Director of International Programs for the Washington-based animal welfare groups, Animal Wellness Action and The Center for a Humane Economy.  Inspired to improve all life on earth, Jennifer coined the phrase “the compassion movement” as “the collective quest to alleviate suffering for all forms of life.” What is your relationship with animals?  What steps can we take to protect them, and how will that change echo through our communities?  Come to the Beijing American Center on July 2nd to hear from Jennifer on how we can create joy by activating our empathy for animals.

This program will be conducted in English with consecutive interpretation in Chinese.

Doors will open 30 minutes before the program starts. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before the program starts to allow enough time to go through security. You will NOT be admitted if you arrive half an hour after the program has started.

You must bring a valid physical photo ID in order to enter the Beijing American Center (BAC), copies or pictures of IDs will not be accepted.  No large bags will be allowed into the BAC for this event.

Directions: Metro Line 10, Liangmaqiao Station Exit B, walk northeast to the Tian Ze Road intersection of An Jia Lou Road, north side of the Visas Office.
